Illustration
Freelance illustration for packaging, labels, campaigns and surface pattern — single pieces to full seasonal ranges, for food, drink and product brands across the UK. Based in Norfolk.
I'm a freelance illustrator based in Norfolk, working with businesses across the UK. Most of my commissions are commercial: packaging and label illustration for food and drink brands, campaign and editorial art, hand-drawn logos and brand marks, and surface pattern that carries a brand across its products. Some clients come for a single hero piece; others need a full seasonal range built to work as one system.

I came to Charlotte with a name and a rough idea, and she turned it into a brand I'm genuinely proud to put my name on. The violet motif, the type, the whole feel — clean, personal and grown-up, exactly me. I started tattooing feeling like a proper studio rather than someone just starting out, and clients still tell me how professional it looks.

What people usually ask before commissioning a piece.
What kinds of illustration do you take on?
Mostly commercial work: packaging and label illustration, campaign and editorial art, hand-drawn logos and brand marks, and surface pattern. Single hero pieces through to full seasonal ranges, for food, drink and product brands.
How much does a commission cost?
Commissions are quoted per project on a £200/day basis. As a rough guide, a single spot piece or brand mark starts around £200, a hero packaging or campaign illustration is usually £400–£800, and a full label or pattern range starts around £1,000. You always get a fixed quote before anything begins.
How long does it take?
It depends on the scope, but most single pieces run one to two weeks from a clear brief. Packaging and print work is best started early — send me your deadline and I’ll tell you honestly whether it’s doable.
Who owns the artwork, and can I use it anywhere?
You get a clear licence for the use we agree up front — for example, packaging and marketing for your brand. Broader or exclusive rights can be included; we just scope them at the quote stage so there are no surprises later.
What files do I get?
Final artwork ready for its purpose — print-ready files for packaging and print, plus web and vector formats where relevant. Everything is checked to work at the size and format you need.
Can you work to an existing brand or a specific style?
Yes. I can work within your existing brand and art direction, or develop a style from scratch. Either way we lock the direction from rough sketches before any finished artwork, so you’re never guessing at the end.
