Packaging illustration & design
Hand-drawn packaging and label illustration for food, drink and product brands across the UK — made to stand out on shelf and print beautifully.
Charlotte Chapman is a packaging illustrator working with food, drink and product brands across the UK. If your product needs to earn its place on a busy shelf, illustration is one of the surest ways to do it — a hand-drawn label, a characterful beer can, a botanical bottle or an illustrated box gives a brand warmth and story that stock imagery and type alone can’t.
Packaging illustration is a craft with real constraints: it has to reproduce cleanly at small sizes, survive the press, sit inside dielines, and work as a family across a range. Charlotte designs with those constraints in mind and hands over print-ready artwork — so what you approve on screen is what comes back from the printer.
Founders often come for a single label and stay for the wider brand. Because packaging illustration, logos and full brand identity all come from one person here, your can, your logo and your campaign art can share one coherent hand — rather than being stitched together from three suppliers. See packaging work below, then enquire with a rough brief and timeline.

Common questions
Can you supply print-ready packaging artwork?
Yes. Artwork is prepared to your printer’s spec — correct dielines, bleed, colour and resolution — so it goes to print without a scramble. If you need dieline setup or print management as well, that’s a clear add-on.
Do you design a whole range, not just one label?
Often, yes. Illustration is designed to work as a family across variants and formats, so a range stays coherent on shelf. That can run as a project or roll into a monthly retainer for seasonal releases.
What does packaging illustration cost?
It’s quoted per project from a £220 day rate. If you want the brand and a set of illustrations together, the launch pack starts at £2,500. See the prices page.
